By car

Elche is connected with the mediterranean coast and Europe by the A-7 highway (european E-15). In addition, the highway Alicante – Cartagena (A-32) connects Elche with both cities. Another important commumication way is the N-330 National road network, connecting Alicante with the rest of the State. Additional secondary ways are N-340 between Alicante, Elche and Murcia via Orihuela, or the N-332, linking different points of the coast.

To access the University from highway A-7 take the exit Monforte-Elche-Madrid-Universidad and continue following the indications to Elche city and Universidad to reach the parking North inside the campus. From the parking, the Torregaitan building can be seen at 400m distance (see below).

 By air

The closest airport is the Aeropuerto Internacional de El Altet, conecting main european and national cities. Other airports are Murcia (San Javier), Valencia (Manises), Madrid (Barajas) or Barcelona (El Prat).

The El Altet airport is located 20 min far from Elche. From the airport take the road N-338 to link the highway A-7/E-15 direction Murcia, then follow the indications by cars (above).

By train

The accession to Alicante can be done using three different lines:

     Madrid-Alicante (and connections with the North of Spain)

     Barcelona-Alicante (and connections with Europe)

     Alicante-Murcia (short-range connections)

Alicante city has two train stations: Alicante-Término, connecting with RENFE network, and Estación de La Marina, connecting local places (F.G.V.).

To reach Elche from Alicante-Termino take the short-range train "Cercanias" to Murcia (every 1 hour aprox. Cercanias) and leave the train in the third stop (Elx-Park station) after an aprox. 25 min trip. The University campus is 1 Km distance from the station and can be reached by a 10 min walk.

By bus

The bus station in Elche is located near the train station and close to the University Campus. There are regular lines connecting close villages and cities, as well as national and international destinies.
